Hello, I am using a sprint 8330 trying to connect to a debian machine, I have tried several solutions onling to get it to tether i cannot get any of them to work correctly, i have no experience with pppd. Any help would be much appreciated!

Its very close to working but the chat script is not working. When I try and change the script I get an error about not recognizing "-V" or "-f"????

comment out replacedefaultroute (for me)

Trying to connect a BlackBerry Storm to Verizon. Using 3.0.c, following ChrisG's lead, just modictying conf for my cell number. Can't get it to work. When I supply BB password, it always fails with: Need seed value is invalid. Commented out exit on password failure and unlocked Blackberry, still fails. Any hints on what to look at next? Many Thanks!

Update: changed speed to 921600 in the verizon conf file and my equipment was able to handle it. Speed is about twice as fast as 115200.
